And how did you become a supervisor?
Recently, I worked in a sales department of an ad agency. During my first few weeks at work I was under constant surveillance by my department supervisor. She would listen to how I interacted with the clients and monitor my phone calls on a daily basis.

Every morning I would receive a memorandum on my desk outlining all the things I did incorrectly. But, the issue was that almost all of the memos would have bad grammar and incorrect spelling in it.

Two weeks before I resigned, I decided to correct much of the grammatical and spelling errors in the memos I received over the last few weeks. I corrected all errors with a red pen and I put suggestions on the bottom of the memos of how to write it right the next time.

On Friday morning, a week before I was to resign, I handed them in to my supervisor’s manager who seemed quite perturbed at the amount of errors in the memos. By the end of the day I was told by my supervisor that I was not doing a good job and was ask to leave the company.
